Very simple recipe. Easy weekday dinner option.

1 lb of hamburger
1 large can of Tomato Soup
1 lb of pasta (any kind - elbow is what I normally use)
1 tsp Onion powder
1 tsp Chili powder
1 tsp cayenne pepper
(all spices can be tweaked to taste)

1. Brown hamburger in a medium sauce pan. If necessary drain fat off of hamburger.
2. Add Soup and spices. Stir and simmer over low-medium heat.
3. Prepare pasta according to directions on package.
4. Add pasta to soup mixture and simmer for 30 minutes.
5. Serve and enjoy!

  1. I love goulash. I thought I would share a recipe I have for it as well. I don't know if your husband will eat it since he is picky, but Lee eats it and he is picky.

    8 oz egg noodles
    1 onion, chopped
    1 red pepper, sliced
    1 zucchini, sliced
    1 lb ground turkey/beef
    2 cups tomato sauce
    1 Tbsp basil

    Cook pasta.
Over medium-high heat, sauté onion for 2 minutes.
Add pepper and sauté 2 minutes.
Add zucchini and sauté 2 minutes.
    Remove vegetables and set aside.
Add ground turkey/beef and sauté until no longer pink (about 10 minutes).
Add vegetables, tomato sauce, and basil and cook 5 minutes.
    Serve over pasta.
